Nien-Tzu is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

(LMFT 103988)
Nien has a Master of Science degree in counseling, and a bachelor’s degree in child and adolescent studies from California State University. Her professional experiences and her academic training enable her to work effectively on children, women, parenting, family and relationship related subjects.
She worked in private practice setup as well as in agencies including Family Assessment Counseling & Education Services (FACES), Salvation Army Adult Rehab Center, and Blind Children Learning Center (BCLC). She currently lives in San Francisco bay area helping clients at both YWCA Silicon Valley and in her own private practice office.

Nien believes that counseling is for everyone. It is for each individual who wants to reconnect or better connect with him/her inner self. No matter how old you are, there is always a chance to better understand yourself, your world, and your life. You don’t need to be crazy or wait until feeling out of control to seek a therapist’s help. When you feel confused, lost or stuck in any moment in your life and feel that your strong emotions need to find a way out, probably it is a good time to talk to a therapist.
